The Ceremony

The Ceremony will begin promptly at 1pm. So please make sure you leave enough time on arrival to comfortably find you seat and relax in time.

The Ceremony will be held in the Monsoon suite at the Hotel. It will take place in the adjoining room to the reception area, which you will be directed to by the staff.

The Ceremony will be for close family members and friends only and will therefore be on the small side, keeping it nice and intimate.

We will be foregoing many of the traditional aspects for our wedding, including sectioned Bride and Groom seating. You will be allocated a seat, however do not worry if you feel you are on the ‘wrong side’ as you will all be sat together.

Unplugged ceremony

We would really appreciate you popping your mobile phone away for the ceremony.

There will be an opportunity for you to take your photos, and this will be announced, otherwise we would really appreciate you being fully present for the ceremony, sharing in the moment and not having our official pictures dotted with mobiles in them.

Social media and photos

We know you will want to take your own photos and this is will be activity encouraged when appropriate during the day.

However we would really like to be the first people to share our day officially and so ask you NOT to share your photos on any social media before the Bride and Groom. This is an important point for us and we would be most grateful if this was followed just for one day.
