Q: Can I bring a guest/ Plus 1?

A: Unless your invitation specifically stated “plus guest” on your invitation, I’m sorry but extra plus 1s (including partners in some cases) will sadly not be able to be accommodated. We have strict restrictions from our venue and anyone not on the guest will sadly be turned away.

As you are probably already aware we are trying to keep the wedding on the smaller side, both for a more romantic feel, but also for our budget.

However that being said, if you do have a guest you wish to bring who has not officially been invited please do let us know and we can pop them in a ‘reserve’ list in case we do have any capacity after all the RSVPs are back.

Q: Can I bring my children?

A: Again this is much like the “plus 1” question above; unless specifically stated on your invitation, I’m sorry but children will sadly not be invited.

Unfortunately even children need to be on the guest list at the hotels reception and would have needed to have been pre booked and paid for.

We’re hoping this will give you the opportunity to relax and enjoy celebrating the evening with us.

Q: Gifts

A: As much as we appreciate some will want to give gifts, we truly believe that the most important thing is having you there to celebrate with us, and gifts are most definitely not expected. The cost of living has hit us all and the fact you’ve chosen to come and spend our day with us is more than enough!

However should you still wish to make a small contribution, then a few pennies for our honeymoon pot would be lovely, we have more than enough towels and toasters.

Q: Dress code?

A: A wedding is the perfect opportunity to get those glad rags out, and semi-formal attire will be expected please. No Jeans or trainers, but we’re not expecting black tie either.

Q: Dietary requirements/ Allergies

A: For the wedding breakfast for the day guests it will be a Set Menu so if you have a special dietary requirement or food allergy please make a note of this in the comment section of the RSVP page!

For the evening reception there will be a variety of finger food and cake, but again please let us know of any allergies in the comment box on when RSVPing.

Q: Dancing and Music

A: Yes, a fair few will be from our dancing family, so don’t forget your dance shoes. James will kindly be D.J ing on the night and will have plenty of tracks to keep us all on the dance floor! There will be plenty of genres in his set, from Jive, Smooth, Country, Salsa, Bachata and more so please feel free to ask for style of song.

For those who normally don't dance, this is most definitely not expected, feel free to enjoy the evening however you feel comfortable.

Q: Parking
A: There is free parking at the hotel car park itself.
